Dr. ThomsonDr. Thomas R. Maselli

Dr. Thomas Maselli is a native of North Adams. He graduated from St. Joseph’s High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in biology, cum laude, from Assumption College in 1976, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He received his doctor of optometry (O.D.), from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 1981.

He has been practicing in North Adams since 1981, partnering with Dr. Irving Tanzman in 1986. He practices primary care optometry which includes comprehensive eye health and vision evaluations, eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, low vision rehabilitation, surgical co-management, and diagnosis and treatment of many ocular ailments.

He is a member of the executive board of the Massachusetts Society of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association.


Dr. Katie M. Field

Dr. Katie Field is originally from Rhode Island. She received a Bachelor of Science in Botany and a Master of Science in Cellular Biology from the University of Rhode Island. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry Degree (O.D.) in 2003 from the New England College of Optometry, where she graduated first in her class. She then completed a six month post-graduate internship at the Rhode Island Eye Instutute.

In 2004, she moved to North Adams to join Drs. Tanzman and Maselli, where she practices primary care optometry. This includes comprehensive vision and eye health evaluations, eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, pediatric eye care, surgical co-management, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases.

She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometry and the American Optometric Association.


Dr. Timothy M. MaselliTim1

Dr. Timothy Maselli is a North Adams native. He graduated from Drury High School in 2004 and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in biology, summa cum laude, from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. He received his doctor of optometry (O.D.), with honors, from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 2011.

He joined the practice in August of 2011 and practices primary care optometry which includes comprehensive eye health and vision evaluations, eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, pediatric ocular health examinations, surgical co-management, and diagnosis and treatment of many ocular ailments.

He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association.
